As much as I love Walmart, I'm afraid I'm going to have to quick-fail this article on the main basis that there are numerous of unreferenced statements, many of which are tagged with [citation needed] tags which require addressed per WP:V. This is truly against the good article criteria. There are also a variety of other tags being used in the article, such as [when?] and such, as well as dead links tagged with [dead link] tags for some of them. This is also a key concern. Please also fix referencing errors, such as the missing of accessdate, publisher, author parameters and such; many are bare URLs. Some further specific concerns:
- There are numerous of unreferenced statements, many of which are tagged with [citation needed] tags which require addressed per WP:V.
- There are also a variety of other tags being used in the article, such as [when?] and such, as well as dead links tagged with [dead link] tags for some of them.
- Please also fix referencing errors, such as the missing of accessdate, publisher, author parameters and such; many are bare URLs.
- Avoid one-line or sentence paragraphs for readability and access.
- Avoid using too many external links in that section per WP:ELNO. Remove some that are very unneeded.
- "Find more about Wal-Mart" switch to "Walmart" just
- Don't "shout" in reference titles
- Linking problems throughout the article, including references
- Add "Arkansas portal" and "United States portal" to the current list of portals in see also section per WP:PORTAL.
- "%" should be wrote out fully as "percent"
- May also be in need of a copy-edit before resubmission
I'm very sorry to do this, but I'd be more than happy to review once these major concerns have been addressed, including a through copy-edit of the article itself. Regardless, thank you for participating at good article nominations and I wish you the best of luck with this article. TBrandley 04:41, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
