- Walt Disney Pictures → Disney (film production company) – Disney dropped the "Walt" and "Pictures" since very late 2011, so as of very late 2011 they are no longer called Walt Disney Pictures. They are just called "Disney". They no longer use "Walt Disney Pictures presents", so they just use "Disney presents" in their credits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a02:c7f:a089:4200:ca3:125b:43a8:77bc (talk) 22:50, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose: This is the common name for the studio. The company is still legally incorporated as Walt Disney Pictures and is still referred to as such by Disney internally, as seen for example in this recent press release on one of its films. ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?) 02:52, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- I propose Disney, seeing as it already redirects to the page and is the obvious WP:COMMONNAME.--Ortizesp (talk) 06:26, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- Actually, "Disney" currently redirects to "The Walt Disney Company", not "Walt Disney Pictures". Paintspot Infez (talk) 17:13, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per Jedi94, the company name still legally incorporated as Walt Disney Pictures. In my argument about Ortizesp proposal, i would be oppose it, since it can referred to a conglomerate as whole, not only just a film production company. 110.137.162.247 (talk) 09:48, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose It is neither the common name, nor the legal name of the company. Dimadick (talk) 10:00, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Interstellarity (talk) 00:13, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
