Operations citation

There has been a "Citation needed" in the operations section for a long time. I think its understood that the cast members driving the monorails are trained differently then those driving a bus. I think the only citation that could ever be given is ref to the different hand books, and good luck finding one of those. So I recommend one of two things. 1) remove the citation needed tag and just accept that the information is common knowledge, or 2) remove the part that needs citation. I personally vote to leave the information, but whichever way gets the annoying citation tag off. Knotslanding (talk) 09:43, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

If you are not familiar with the official English Wikipedia on Verifiability, it states in part that "any material challenged or likely to be challenged should be attributed to a reliable, published source" and that "any material lacking a reliable source may be removed." As such, it would be inappropriate to remove the {{unreferencedsection}} tag without also removing the section in question. --Kralizec! (talk) 14:22, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

But that is exactly the point, as the {{unreferencedsection}} tag is challenging the entire unreferenced section. However, rather than remove anything, why not just leave it hope that someone with a valid source is able to appropriately cite this section in the future? --Kralizec! Public transit?

The first sentence of the article states that the monorails are a public transit system. Although they definitely are a transit system, shuttling people from place to place, is it really public? After all, it's 100% on private property and shuttles people from one part of said private property to another. It doesn't charge fares, although it does receive funds through the parking fees and other revenue sources within the resort. Opinions? --McDoobAU93 (talk) 16:38, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes it is 100% public. You do not have to pay admission fee to ride the monorail. You do not even have to pay parking fee. You do not have to be a member of a club or organization to ride. It is open to the public. It just depends on if the public want to be taken to it's destinations. Knotslanding (talk) 07:36, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
