variation in article titling
editA certain degree of perplexity can result in variations in titling schemes across different languages. Depending on the specific article and the language, the specific church official can be identified as:
- first name of community of origin
- first name of diocese
- first name of diocese (variant name)
Here are the actual article titles used for this article, based on language:
- arz: arz:والتر (قسيس كاتوليك من بولاندا) (Walter (Catholic priest from Poland))
- cs: Walter z Malonne
- de: Walter (Breslau)
- en: Walter (bishop of Wrocław)
- fr: Wauthier de Malonne
- pl: Walter z Malonne
Including all the elements (in English), we would have:
- Walter of Malonne (Bishop of Wroclaw)
A naming convention that required having all of the elements might seem likely to be annoying, but I suggest it would be preferable to what we currently have. Fabrickator (talk) 07:31, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
