As discussed at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates#List of Walter Byers Scholars, This article is not really a list, but rather is an article about the scholarship program that includes a list of past recipients. The most precise and complete name for the article would be Walter Byers Postgraduate Scholarship Program, but it also could be called Walter Byers Scholarship. (These and several other potential alternative names all redirect to this article.) --Orlady (talk) 16:24, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
- As the page creator, I have already noted at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Walter Byers Scholarship that I am willing to rename, but it will take an admin to do so because the page has a ton of redirects already created at all logic move/rename destinations.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 19:45, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
- In order to have this moved by an admin, I proposed the move at Wikipedia:Requested moves. I listed it under "Other proposals" (instead of "Uncontroversial proposals") because of uncertainty as to which of the possible new names would be best. This is the place to discuss the choice of a new name. --Orlady (talk) 03:41, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
- Is there any preference for a new name then? Keith D (talk) 16:18, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
- I guess "Walter Byers Scholarship" probably makes the most sense, but I'm no expert on the topic... --Orlady (talk) 00:29, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
