Hopefully we can find some sourcing and work up some content to cover the negative aspects of his filmmaking such as using gross ethnic stereotypes and exploiting his subjects as freaks for curiosity sake and jokes rather than respectful treatment that would promote understanding. - Sure, if you want to start adding links to sources here, I can work on it... Or, feel free to start drafting this as well.–CaroleHenson (talk) 18:31, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
- This source goes into it a big but only a snippet view is available online. Thanks for inclusing some bits aboit his film splicing. His "junk-man" role of recycling footage seem to be a core part of his work. Interestingly Africa Speaks footage was later used in Tarzan movies. FloridaArmy (talk) 18:37, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
- Perhaps this query "Walter Futter" exploitation will bring something useful.
- I wish I could take credit for the "junk-men" addition, but it was someone else... and it could be expanded upon.
- Perhaps there could be an addition to the Africa Speaks! article about the Tarzan movies info, if you have a source for that.–CaroleHenson (talk) 19:18, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
