Merge proposal
editSince this person is only notable for the Ascq Massacre, which already has a page, I propose they be merged. The Ascq massacre page is also quite small.AdventurousSquirrel (talk) 09:10, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- False - also notable for another massacre, in the present-day Czech republic. Allens (talk | contribs) 17:36, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
References
editI am trying to fix the references so you can see the translated title. I will use a citation template parameter "|trans-title=" to do that. I would additionally like to make it easy for readers to access the Google translation of the article (in addition to the original non-English source) by just one click rather than having to switch browsers, copy into Google translate, etc. --David Tornheim (talk) 15:16, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
Note to the creator of the article
edit@Tobovs:
Hi. I see you are still editing. I was just at the article you created here on Walter Hauck six years ago. It is interesting and well written. Because only one of the five sources are in English, I spent some time trying to read the Czech and French articles using Google translate (as well as the German Wikipedia version) to add more in-line citations and learn more. I started a discussion about making it easier to pull up the sources you provided using Google translate. Are you still interested in this article? I hope so, because I am getting increasingly interested in articles that have WP:RS that is not in English. I am also interesting in comparing our Wikipedia articles written in other languages to see if more sources and information can be added either direction.
Thanks for your article!
