This article contains a translation of Lüneburger Erbfolgekrieg from de.wikipedia. |
This article makes almost no mention of the role of the towns, it was mainly a war between the towns of Brunswick and Luneburg and the two would-be Dukes who wanted to mediatise the towns and make them into their Residenz. Both towns succeeded in defeating the princes and pushing the gentry out of their feldmark, or local districts.
The article makes it sound like a purely dynastic struggle between the two princely factions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.73.19.153 (talk) 17:35, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for that observation. I see that the German Wiki article has been expanded considerably since this early translation. Perhaps you'd like to expand the article by translating that or by using other information from reliable sources. ☺ --Bermicourt (talk) 18:15, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
