Here is some information that can be wikified when it's cleaned up and referenced. I don't know of any websites offhand that contain this material, and I don't know what the books were that I originally read the info from. But it is part of our towns histoy.
In 1898 a railway platform named Karabah was built, to service a developing estate possibly sharing the same name. This was closed before WW1. In 1918 a new station was built not much further down the Blue Mountains line, and named Warrimoo. This station was burnt out by a bushfire in the 1950s and subsequently rebuilt.
I know there is an article about the station itself, but I believe this historical information is important to the development of the township itself. 121.44.81.13 (talk) 00:55, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
As well as adding the above mentioned info, suggest info on the Black Christmas Bushfires (2001) could be expanded given several of the editors of this page witnessed this first hand. @121.44.81.13, happy to discuss your experiences on this with mine, and work on adding some depth to this section of the page. 121.44.109.92 (talk) 09:49, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
