Note that the DYK above is false. Daugherty served as Attorney General, not Secretary of State. Unfortunately, the hook as shown above appeared on the Main Page for eight hours, despite a report to WP:ERRORS. MANdARAX•XAЯAbИAM00:42, 26 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ugg. You'll note that the text of the article is correct; I obviously made a mistake when writing the hook. Big question: why wasn't the mistake caught by whoever looked at the DYK nomination? Nyttend (talk) 01:57, 26 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Yes, when I read the error report, I went to check the article and saw that it was correct. I understand the hook-writing mistake – you get something in your mind and it accidentally gets a little shifted when you write it out. The fault is with the "reviewer".
