The Washington & Lee Swing is the most popular school song ever written. I included it as a separate entry due to its popularity. I will leave it to your discretion as to whether it merits inclusion as an entry, but (in my opinion) it is a traditional piece of American music that merits separate inclusion.````

Eh, for "the most popular school song ever written" it sure is odd that I've never heard of it until just now. Perhaps at one time it was a very popular song, but it's not nearly as relevant as songs such as Hail to the Victors, Rocky Top, or the Notre Dame Victory March... which even non-sports fans can typically identify.--70.145.76.243 (talk) 19:55, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
