Madamism
editShould we add "Madamism" to the page as a cultural reference? Apparently people are now calling certain celebrities (Joan Rivers, Cher, Madonna and more) victims of a condition they term "Madamism"---through extensive or awful plastic surgery they are beginning to appear as if they are similar to Madame. (http://cityrag.blogs.com/main/2005/11/madamism.html, http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/2008/07/15/is-that-madonna-or-one-of-the-spitting-image-puppets/, examples of the mention and pictures) Apparently, there is no page for the condition yet itself, and I have no idae of how wide-spread it is; nor do I claim to be an expert. I thought it would be nice to mention it as a cultural reference. Chimandera (talk) 05:14, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting. This may be a legitimate addition, there are several uses in different publications. Was it coined by City Rag in 2005? DFS (talk) 23:38, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Wayland Flowers' death and sexuality
editWayland Flowers died of AIDS why is this not mentioned in the article on him? Wayland was a gay man, why is this also not mentioned in the article either?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.36.212.243 (talk) 02:27, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Article states he died in Dawson, GA however his death certificate shows he died in Los Angeles, CA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.54.101.186 (talk) 07:10, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- I remember news reports saying that he had Madame buried with him, but it's not mentioned in the article. Even though he was cremated, since his ashes were buried, it seems possible--Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 17:28, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
I just saw a very nice Madame on ARS (it was worth a lot); maybe there were several. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:346:1180:4320:69AF:ABF8:6050:AE5E (talk) 17:00, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
