I'm not sure we're being consistent saying that the song was "first recorded" by The Carpenters, while also saying that it existed as a commercial recorded by Paul Williams. Better perhaps to delete the word "first" from "first recorded"? ::[User:DanielLevitin]], June 18, 2006 ~~
