2.WeChat red envelope is different from payment and the two should not be merged : WeChat payment is a way of paying money, used in purchasing commodities and services, launched on January 6, 2008. Yet WeChat envelope is an app developed on January 27, 2014, and its functions are delivering virtual money, checking history list and withdrawing cash. The two are not the same thing, nor WeChat red envelope is part of WeChat payment. The following pictures show their differences in a more direct way. The first two are the interface and logo of WeChat payment, and the third is the interface of WeChat red envelope. As you can see, the two are separate and quite different. You can find the pictures in the links below.
3. WeChat red envelope should not be merged into WeChat entry: WeChat red envelope is not just a simple product, and it affects the chinese society significantly. For example, it created a new business model (you can refer to our wiki page) , changed the old chinese tradition (giving virtual red envelope), make hundreds of millions of people involved in it. Meanwhile, it also brought many problems to Chinese society, such as the new method of fraud and bribery. Therefore, I think it is necessary to highlight this term, in view of its social impact, and give this term an independent page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZHANGY5816 (talk • contribs) 08:30, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
