We need to talk about Bruno
editIt current reads: and her brother Camilo portrays Bruno as a fearsome figure who "feasts on your screams".
Bruno went missing ten years ago, Camilo too young to remember him. He is smiling as he jokes around, exaggerating the person, claiming he was 7 feet tall, rats on his back, and "feasts on your screams".
I was reverted first when I added "comically" into the sentence to show he was clearly joking. [1]
I was then reverted when I changed it to show exactly what he said so its clear he is exaggerating for humorous purposes. and her brother Camilo portrays Bruno as a seven foot tall man with rats on his back who "feasts on your screams". [2]
Right now it makes it sound like he was serious, and that the character is some evil person who enjoys tormenting others. Dream Focus 10:30, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- It says "portrays". I don't think this implies that Camilo thinks Bruno is evil.

- Key word: portrays. Camilo does an impression of Bruno in a terrifying way. Additionally, it seems like everyone else is acting as though Bruno is evil. Camilo could be of this opinion or he could not be. --Roundish ⋆tc) 12:21, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- It might feel exaggerative, but they were not joking. All their perceptions had been warped by time CreecregofLife (talk) 15:19, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- Like I said, you need a source to support your claim. Otherwise, any interpretation of the song's lyrics constitutes WP:OR. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:08, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Roundish I don't think that's what the movies intent is Sarah afton (talk) 19:42, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Roundish furthermore you shouldn't change the thing if it is from the movie Sarah afton (talk) 19:43, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
- "I don't think" is the definition of WP:OR. We have to go by what sources say. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:35, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- The two sources referenced don't mention "feasts on your screams" at all, nor call him a "fearsome figure". Camilo isn't even named anywhere in either of the two references! [3] [4] Search for his name, its not there! Dream Focus 11:37, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- You're right. I'm not even going to look at the first source, because Inside the Magic isn't reliable and should be removed, but it turns out The Mary Sue doesn't even mention the lyrics in question! I'll add in a {{Failed verification}} tag. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:06, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- It's not necessary to cite a source for a simple synopsis of a scene in a film, which is what this article is about. The film is its own primary source. AJD (talk) 07:03, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Could you please point me to a guideline that says so? WP:PLOTCITE doesn't apply to song articles, as far as I know. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:26, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- I think WP:FILMPLOT applies here, since in addition to being a song this is also a scene from a film. AJD (talk) 15:20, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
- As I wrote, I don't think WP:PLOTCITE (or its sister, WP:FILMPLOT) applies to articles about songs. Only to film articles and fictional character articles. InfiniteNexus (talk) 03:32, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- This is a film article. In addition to being an article about a song, this is an article about a specific scene from a specific film. AJD (talk) 04:48, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
