Can someone give a reference of the interview with Lisa Ann about the interview.
can anyone tell me when does a single cover come out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.173.135.170 (talk) March 27, 2009
I've added a ref. to the Lisa Ann thing. Someone kept sourcing it to MTV for some reason. Don't know when the cover will be released... 22:54, 27 March 2009 (UTC) Elliot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.107.74.117 (talk) March 27, 2009

Fan of Rain Man?
editIs it true that Eminem has "stated he is a fan of" Rain Man? That MTV link just mentions that he referenced it in a song, so to claim he's a fan of it is conjecture, really. Maybe the sentence could read "... homage to Rain Man, a film Eminem has previously mentioned in his lyrics."? I was going to change it myself but maybe I'm just nitpicking. ElijahReno (talk) 22:04, 29 March 2009 (UTC) Okay, I went ahead and changed it because it was bothering me. Didn't really need it's own section on the talk page, I admit, but it's pretty quiet anyway... ElijahReno (talk) 22:27, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- In The Way I Am, he does indeed say something along the lines of "Rain Man totally fascinated me". darkweasel94 (talk) 13:13, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Release Dates
editHi, i've added a release dates section, can users please help to identify the releases worlwide, including as a CD ??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.199.187.96 (talk) 21:47, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Criticism from Bill O' Reilly
edithttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smSB7e2RTzI
Bill says its misogynist and calls it "a long rant about Sarah Palin".--Shadygeneral (talk) 03:02, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- Youtube can't be used as a reference. Slowpoke (talk) 02:00, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Generally favourable reviews?
editI'd say the reviews have been mixed at best. At the moment there are two reviews quoted and I don't think the Guardian one could accurately be described as favourable; it reeks of disappointment. ElijahReno (talk) 16:46, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Is Dina Rae credited with feature?
editI've been looking at various sources and articles, and I have seen none crediting Dina Rae with a feature. Most hardly even mention Dina Rae as the singer of the chorus. I previously added a fact template, but it was somehow removed. Hopefully it will stay this time. Do U(knome)? yes...or no 18:35, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
It's been changed to Charmagne Tripp, but there are even less references to that person with the song. There are many if you google Dina Rae "We Made You." Also, the person that added Charmagne Tripp and her article created an account and edited all of the information the same day.--206.74.156.164 (talk) 06:10, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
In an Interview on MTV Eminem stated it was Charmagne Tripp. It also say's the same thing on her website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.227.68.225 (talk) 19:51, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Well it is on charmagne tripp's official website. http://www.charmagne.net/home.html
I would just leave that blank untill we get the credits. Because while it may not be charmagne tripp i don't think it's Dina Rey either. It sounds nothing like her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.227.68.225 (talk) 01:41, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it will be released in two days and then we will know, at the latest when it's released physically. Unless somebody finds a relieable source for either one of the singers...--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 14:40, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- So, was it ever confirmed that it is Charmagne Tripp? --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Live Performance
editWill he perform this live at the MTV music video awards? someone keeps adding this to the article, if someone doesn't give a reference to this statement it will keep getting deleted.
and why is the genre comedy rap, please give reference, it's just any other funny rap track, comedy rap is something different, should i delete that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dvivid13 (talk • contribs) 15:38, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think comedy rap is alright, as it is an funny song and those definitions are all a little wishy-washy. As for the MTV performance, I don't think that this is relevant for the article. It should be deleted. --DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 18:03, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- I looked around and found two references but I don't think they'd be reliable:
http://www.rap-up.com/2009/04/11/eminem-to-perform-at-mtv-movie-awards/ http://www.eminembase.com/news.php --Shadygeneral (talk) 00:24, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
hey, now i AM sure he will perform this live, its all over MTV, check this source out, give me the head and i';; add this onto the article,br.http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1609068/20090413/story.jhtml,br.btw, how many of you like this song, seriously i LOVED it ;) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dvivid13 (talk • contribs) 14:24, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- he will perform there, but it is not said what song he will perform. And as I said, this is irrelevant for the article...--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 14:41, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
We Made You Single Artwork
editAmazon has this as the artwork:--Shadygeneral (talk) 00:26, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

- Wow. Someone put a lot of thought into that. ElijahReno (talk) 21:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I forgot to post here saying I've added it. Slowpoke (talk) 21:55, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, don't mind me, I just meant that the cover's design is a bit crap.ElijahReno (talk) 01:30, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Video Screenshot
editI Request someone to put a screen shot of the video and add it to the article. It will add to the value of the article, and as it is the video is pretty contoversial, so can anyone do this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dvivid13 (talk • contribs) 09:14, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Celebrities
editI've seen the notion- "please do not add any more celebrities, we cannot list them all up" Why in the world not? Wikipedia aspires to be the most wide and vast source of knowledge, and people shouldn't be forced to look elsewhere in order to find such information. Wikipedia should definitely have it. There is hardly a space limitation for plain text is there?? I know that's the reason I came in to this page in the first place, and I hated having to look elsewhere to find the full mock "guest-list". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.241.25 (talk) 17:16, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- I have deleted the hidden text. Unless discussed on talk, it represents nothing but the POV of the editor who inserted it. In any case it is not relevant any longer, as the list now is near-complete (it wasn't when the hidden text was inserted). 212.10.65.166 (talk) 05:55, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Pop culture references
editPeople, please start expanding this article. There's a huge amount of information here.
- Jailhouse Rock (1957), widely considered the first modern music video.
- Dukes of Hazard, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke
Product Placement
editIs it worth a mention that there's product placment going on in the video, such as Tuborg beer? A guy who just watched the video.--85.82.249.149 (talk) 11:25, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- No it's not. 69.105.172.180 (talk) 21:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Cast
editWould it be acceptable to have a cast section? There is obviously a large cast in this video with several "important" characters. Many of the people who made cameos are mentioned, but the article does not say who they played. 69.105.172.180 (talk) 21:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Riddles
editPossible expressionist interpretation of the video: Rancher girl - Jewel K; Shredder girl - J Lo; Cage girl - Sharon Tate (hint: Manson) [[Corbin G.] 28 May 2009] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.79.216.246 (talk) 11:48, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
You mean impressionistic, don't you? 98.246.183.207 (talk) 19:51, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
Nanook of the North
editReally, now? Just because Bobby Lee's dressed up as an Eskimo? Sorry, I think that's a little grasp-y.--74.72.163.16 (talk) 03:04, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Removed Self promotion from We made you Article
editThis is an obvious example of self promotion
"The Sims 2 music video was directed by GoldenMicRecords, the music video you can watch on GoldenMicRecords Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/GoldenMicRecords."
It's been removed from the article. Any objections? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.24.150.142 (talk) 08:30, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Gibberish
editI removed this section for the article, "The music video of the named song has a lot of controversy, including parody of some artist, and their music videos, including Britney Spears in Gimme More, Gwen Stefani in Sweet Escape and Elvis Presley in Jailhouse Rock. Some of the artist such as, Fergie, Lady Gaga, Ellen DeGeneres, Tyra Banks and Mariah Carey are in the parody of Eminem. All of the artist don't give opinions except for Mariah Carey which response to the "We Made You" video in her "Obsessed" video." becuase it makes no sense and is not sourced in any way. I'm guessing it was written by a non-english speaking editor and did not translate well. If anyone can surmise what it was intended to mean, go ahead and rewrite it, otherwise I think it shouldn't be on the article. -70.184.239.162 (talk) 12:56, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
