Hello, my name is CaliforniaDreamsFan, and I'll be reviewing your article! Full review coming soon, so stay tuned!
Lead section
edit- "'We Wanna' is a song recorded by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan for her third studio album, Alesta (2016). Featuring the vocal collaboration of Romanian singer Inna and American performer Daddy Yankee" — Remove "recorded" in the first sentence; repetition of "record/ing".
- "while being solely produced by Schuller and Troelsen." — Remove "soley", cause it sounds like only one collaborator produced the track.
- "whose lyrics delve on themes like having a good time and partying." — Saying "like" is slightly unencyclopedic in this sentence. Try this, "whose lyrics delve on themes such as enjoyment and partying."
- Replace "originally" with "solely".
- "but she accepted offering it to Stan to relaunch her in the music industry." — Doesn't make much sense, can you re-word this please.
- "praising its "pleasant" melody, "chilled chorus", and calling it a "future-European-summer-smash"." — I feel because you've included quotes, they need references (but leads generally cannot featured references.). Could you just mention "praising its melody, chorus, and commercial appeal."?
Background
edit- "French website Pure Charts reported that prior to the single's release, Stan and Inna had sold together more than 30 million records worldwide" — This is slightly trivial to the article itself; remove it.
- The rest is really well done .
Composition
edit- "while being solely produced by Schuller and Troelsen." — Same as lead.
- "The song portrays an upbeat dance-pop recording" — The song is an upbeat dance-pop record"
- There's an issue with the excessive use of non-free content (WP:Non-free content), as there are already four files on quite a small (yet well done) article. Personally, I would advise you probably remove the image of Daddy Yankee as it crams too much into the article.
Critical reception
edit- This section is really well written, but when you mention "generally acclaimed", there is criticism towards Daddy Yankee's performance. Maybe you could write, "Upon its release, "We Wanna" was generally acclaimed by music critics, though some were critical towards Daddy Yankee's inclusion."
- Found a better way in writing "positive to mixed". Cartoon network freak (talk) 12:20, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
Commercial performance
edit- Remove acclaim; a bit of an oxymoron next to "moderate" right?
- Replace "native" with "the Romanian"
- I personally replace worded-numbers over 10 to numerals, but that's a personal opinion.
- "The track was a moderate success on the" — You've already stated that the track experienced moderate success in the charts in entered, so just start it of with "It debuted/opened at number () on the Slovak Singles Chart...".
- "number hundred" — I do think this needs to be changed to "number 100".
- "furher" — "further"
Music video
edit- "collaborations" — "collaborated with"
- Everything else is good!
Live performances
edit- "track list" — "set list"
Credits and personnel
edit- Any additional credits regarding the songwriting, recording whereabouts, etc?
Release and radio history
edit- Created a for all the inclusions in the "labels" section.
Overall GA conclusion
