editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Weaning. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20101124091855/http://ko.cwru.edu:80/services/musfrming.html to http://ko.cwru.edu/services/musfrming.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Ethnological and sociological view
editI miss a treatment of differences in age of weaning according to cultural and class situation. For example, I remember reading in The Chrysanthemum and the Sword that Japanese mothers enjoyed breastfeeding their children and, when Western medicine practitioners instructed them to wean them earlier, the mothers reluctantly did so, believing it was for the better of the child. I regret I don't have the Benedict reference available. --Error (talk) 11:55, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
- I found the Benedict text myself, but surely anthropologists have studied the factors in weaning around the world. --Error (talk) 12:12, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
