Recreation of page
editIt has become obvious that a surface weather analysis is a special type of weather map, so am recreating this article, which has surface weather analysis as a subarticle. Thegreatdr 22:21, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Non-American examples
editPlease can we have some examples of typical weather maps from other parts of the world, not just North America. For example, in Britain, we're used to the idea that our weather comes from the Atlantic, so it would be nice if this page could describe features that typically form in the Caribbean or around Greenland and subsequently arrive in Europe. Likewise for other parts of the world. Paul Taylor (talk) 18:33, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- If you can find one that meets criteria for wikipedia use, go for it. The problem is that other governments have copyright restrictions for their work. The US does not. Thegreatdr (talk) 18:35, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Weather maps on TV
editThere should be mention of weather maps seen on TV. Like these. -- Harry Wood (talk) 00:05, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Weather map
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Weather map's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 13:29, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
