two articles

edit

There needs to be a seperate article for the Wednesday 13 the band and Wednesday 13 the person, similar to what the Marilyn Manson pages have - Deathrocker 16:49, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

There probaly should be, but wednesday isnt as popular. Not enough info is really around to make 2 pages, oh well.

I tried putting that one up but it just won't appear??

Bourbon Crow

edit

Should there be something on this? At least a mention that he's a part of this band. --FaerytaleMalice 16:14, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's been listed, as it's really his and Kid kid's band it should get it's own page. Fre_k

I would have suggested that.. but as of now.. I don't think much is known about it. But I added a link to the Bourbon Crow Myspace. --FaerytaleMalice 07:27, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

he's listed as "outlaw country" as a genre? That seems a little off-base to me. Some info on the Bourbon Crow project would help. Wacky walrus 03:50, 11 July 2007 (UTC)wacky walrusReply

I'm not sure if this is of any help for information about Bourbon Crow, but here is their [Official Myspace Page]?  Doktor  Wilhelm  02:40, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Origins of Names

edit

Shuldn't there be something about the origins of the names that Wednesday 13 uses (and used), I think with this style of music and sub-culture, there is a lot of importance hidden in the names!  Doktor  Wilhelm  02:40, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wife?

edit

I recall hearing that his wife's name was Roxanne. I've even heard him call her Roxy at a show. In fact, I even have a vague memory of seeing that here on Wikipedia a while back. So, does anyone know what's up with this "Olivia" business? Is that her real name and "Roxanne" a moniker? Or just someone with bad info? DeadlyVu (talk) 07:54, 19 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wednesday's wifes name is Roxanne, the person changing the name to "Olivia" is a vandal (the Wednesday 13 page gets a lot of random little vandalism like that)...  Doktor  Wilhelm  12:38, 4 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

they have kids and have been divorced for several years. can't add because i can't find sources online. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.39.117.218 (talk) 18:10, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I've tried to find sources online too (the whole article need loads of ref and such anyways), but can't find anything about a divorce (or much else for that matter); trust Wednesday 13's private life to be private! :S  Doktor  Wilhelm  13:53, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Merge discussion

edit

I believe that the content from the Wednesday 13 (band) article would be much better merged with the main Wednesday 13 article, since the band is Wednesday 13 and anyone that he picked to perform &/or record as a band, much the same as Alice Cooper (though there seems to be an aim to split the content of the Alice Cooper article because there is too much, it also shows that Wednesday 13 doesn't have much content spread over his two articles compared to another musician in the same line of work). I also believe that merging the two articles would allow for more notability of the subject to be shown, besides a lot of the content of either article is just a repeat of each other. I'll make a copy of what I believe the merger of the 2 articles should look like and post it asap, so that everyone can see that it would work.  Doktor  Wilhelm  15:52, 11 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've not worked on blending the articles together yet, though since no one seems interested in this subject, I guess I can take my time and make sure that the finished article will be upto wikipedias standard (includding finding a hell of a lot more ref/citations for the content).  Doktor  Wilhelm  19:59, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
I agree, Wednesday 13 (band) should be merged with Wednesday 13. From what I can gather, all the albums are solo albums, basically the same as Rob Zombie with that there are band members, but his albums are still considered solo. HrZ (talk) 17:02, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Done

edit

I've finally done it, thank you for the comment HrZ. If any one has any issues with the merge please comment here before reverting the edits or such. I'm not sure what to do with the Info box, unreleased recordings and band member sections from the Band article (though I have them saved)? I'll have to work through everything that linked to the band article and link it to the main article sometime.  Doktor  Wilhelm  08:31, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why only one article?

edit

I though I'd post this here, since I have asked for any issues with the merger to be raised on this page; Bezza27 Undid the changes made to Wednesday 13 (band) stating "as the band Wednesday 13 is seperate from the person (Joseph Poole) so they need seperate pages to give info on the band aswell as the person.", though as has beeen previously stated on this talk page, The band is not actually seperate from the person, the same way that Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Meat Loaf are not seperate from their solo careers. The Wednesday 13 band never had a perminant line up, in fact it changed with ever tour and album, the only thing that stayed the same through out was the fact that Wednesday 13 (Joseph Poole) was the lead singer and the band had his name (He is the band). By having a single article for Wednesday 13, both as a person, a group musician and a solo musician; the notability of Wednesday 13 can be improved.  Doktor  Wilhelm  15:15, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

@Doktor Wilhelm:I think the merge should be undone and Wednesday 13 (band) should have its own separate article again, as it once did. An investigation of Wikidata at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q1812953 shows that six (6) other language Wikipedias each have separate articles on the band. English Wikipedia should, as well. — Cirt (talk) 17:25, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Solo Albums

edit

why is there only articles on 2 of his albums? i mean to be honest shouldnt there be at least one for his new album?

"Bloodwork (album)"

edit

The usage and primary topic of Bloodwork (album) is under discussion, see talk:Bloodwork (Texas in July album) -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:07, 23 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bands

edit

In the article's infobox, there's a list of bands that Poole has been with but they're listed under the now-deprciated parameter associated_acts which has since been replaced with current_member_of and past_member_of. I would like to fix this but I need to know which of his bands (if any) are still active. Can anyone help me with this? Charles Essie (talk) 15:00, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
