My reasons for the edits made are purely to improve the page contents. The original definition is correct in the most part but could be improved. I offer the definition that is put forward as part of the Society for Underwater Technology's(SUT) "Marine Awareness" course at which i am a regular guest speaker. I offer a link to the SUT for those interested.
As part of the edit I intend to delete section 1.7 Completion from the sub headings as this , as the name implies , is the concluding part of the "Well Construction" process and is included in section 1.8 where a re completion is carried out and fall into the realm of "Well Intervention" Also altered the section on subsea well intervention to reflect the current market trends
Corrections to terminology
editAt the moment this section does not seem to include electric line (E-Line) Terminologies change in the oilfield all the time, but i feel this would benifit being altered to: Wireline - Slicline and braided line and E-Line - Electric line. Ffinlay (talk) 10:20, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
