Co-founder

WHY IS JOHN T. SCHUESSLER LISTED AS A WENDYS CO-FOUNDER????? He is not, just click on his name and the link shows he didn't start in 1969 whe n wendy's was founded. He started as a manager trainee in ATLANTA georgia in 1976. BRAD BARNEY SHOULD BE L:ISTED BECAUSE IT WAS DAVE THOMAS AND BRAD BARNEY TOGETHER THAT DID ALL THE WORK founding WENDYS. BRAD BARNEY was DAVE's right hand man. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.53.109.177 (talk) 16:40, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi, there's no need to shout. I've removed the entries - you could have too. --NeilN talk to me 16:56, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Kid's Club?

What? No mention of the Wendy's Kids Club? I have a bunch of toys (if you want to call these unfun items toys) from Wendy's, since I was a child. Wow. Okay. I'm old now. Holy shit! Apple8800 (talk) 22:37, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Australia

There are Wendy's currently in Australia. I saw one in Gold Coast last weekend. The article claims it is a former site - I have updated it, but not the map.

The link you provide is for the Wendys ice cream stores. There are hundreds of them in Australia but they don't sell hamburgers and they aren't linked to the Wendy's hamburger chain. When Wendy's (hamburgers) did operate in Oz they were called Wendy's Old Fashioned Burgers (or something along those lines). Unless you can come up with some evidence that the hamburger chain are still operating in Australia I'm changing it back to a former area of business. Tigerman2005 (talk) 04:53, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

History

This caption seems to be erroneous.

"Wendy's was created by Wendy Lim in 1995."

An edit seems to be in order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justchillinout (talkcontribs) 22:19, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

wendy no longer list hambugers on the menu

this is true. you can order a cheeseburger from the menu. But if you want a "hamburger" you must order a "cheeseburger" without the cheese. i tried editing the menu to reflect this but was rejected by the board bot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philgorp (talkcontribs) 02:45, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

lots of edits needed

I work at Wendy's. There are a lot of edits needed. The double stack was not replaced by the cheesycheddar burger, it was replaced by The W. It is like a big mac with a special sauce.

What can I do to gain permission to make these edits without issue? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.173.243.215 (talk) 08:51, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Bad Slogan Information - no citations

I find it hard to believe that the current running slogan for Wendys is Eat Elsewhere, citation needed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.193.125.221 (talkcontribs)

Indeed, that is blatantly false and has been removed. In the future, if you see such errors feel free to remove them yourself. --ThaddeusB (talk) 02:41, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

History Clarification

We need a more clear history about the restaurant. There were two primary logos in history: the first logo was rectangular and then in 1983 introduced the current logo (replacing the first one) which was a square with an emerging circle from the top center and moved Wendy to that area. There should also be history about changes with the restaurants on how new restaurants were being constructed: The yellow cubic roof with beveled-rectangle panels (first used with the second restaurant that introduced the pick-up window) was used from 1970 until 1983, the copper outswept mansard roof was introduced in 1983 (starting with its 2500th restaurant) to replace the yellow roof with beveled rectangles, the similar design which had columns on the corners and for drive-thru windows and the mansard roof patterns flat into the walls was introduced in 1997 (starting with its 5000th restaurant), and then the ultra-modern design was introduced in 2011. --FrancineFan3883 (talk) 08:06, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

The first logo image has gone missing, not showing in the article Bizzybody (talk) 03:52, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Fried Chicken

Does anyone have any information regarding Wendy's that sell actual fried chicken by the piece/bucket? I think they're only the Davco franchises in MD and VA, but I'm unsure and I can't find any source info for this at this point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.102.163.242 (talk) 18:10, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

From someone who lives in the area with Davco franchises, I have never seen fried chicken in any form here. Hope this helps! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.246.87.241 (talk) 21:50, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
