Noteworthy?
editThis page was rightfully deleted. The subject is not sufficiently noteworthy.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.63.255.245] (talk)
I think she definitely deserves a page. I just did a workshop with her at a forum here in Ottawa and she's a really intelligent, smart speaker who has done a LOT in advancing the rights of sex workers in Canada and locally in Toronto. If Stephen Harper is noteworthy then so is she. 70.27.141.179 (talk) 23:15, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
The amount of press coverage deserves a page: the toronto star is the main newspaper in toronto and thus notable. However, perhaps such a long biography is not warranted. Notenderwiggin (talk) 01:58, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
Death date
editMinor correction: I changed the date of death to Tuesday. I heard about this yesterday, though i'm still in the dark on all of the other details. Darqchild (talk) 20:26, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Birth
editShe was born in 1981!!! Someone note it... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.85.54.197 (talk) 11:08, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
Based on what? She was born on May 29, and was 32 at time of death. That would make her birth year 1979, unless you have another source indicating otherwise. [1] 69.165.146.5 (talk) 13:06, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
She was not born on May 24th, 1979 - this information is simply wrong. Also, the date of Wendy's death is not known at this time and should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.179.31 (talk) 20:48, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
- If you can find a source that provides a different date of birth and death, provide the source. The Star obituary says she was 32 and her date of death as August 9th.70.49.181.84 (talk) 02:35, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Court case
editThe sentence "She testified in Alan Young's Constitutional Court Challenge to decriminalize the prostitution laws.[3]" should be changed to properly name the case that was before the courts. Mr. Young has several of these challenges at various levels. For example: "She testified in the Ontario Superior Court in the matter of R. v. Bedford, a constitutional challenge to decriminalize prostitution laws. That case continues and is presently on appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.197.20.198 (talk) 11:37, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
