This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (your reason here) --Courtvonderhaas (talk) 20:40, 5 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Courtvonderhaas, please see WP:DONATETEXT; steps on how get copyrighted text from a different website under an ok license are listed there. Until then I have deleted the text from the article and hidden it from public view. It may also benefit you to send an email to info-en wikimedia.org in order to receive instructions from our volunteer response team about verifying your identity as a member of the Arkansas Dept of Heritage. Please do not send documentation without being requested to do so. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 05:48, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

The information on the page was entered by a member of the Arkansas Dept of Heritage, as was the original page on Encyclopedia of Arkansas, and we hold all rights to reprint department materials.

Dear Bkissin, this is an amusing scenario. Your wise counsel is needed. -Hatchens (talk) 02:52, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hey Hatchens! Moneytrees gave the best answer to this situation. If they hold the rights, they can donate the text so that it can be used in this circumstance. Or, they can rewrite the article so it is not a copypaste of their original page. Otherwise, if we take their word for it, WP is setting itself up for copyright infringement (because, as mentioned, we do not own the rights to the materials).
