Tagging non-English text
edit@Uanfala: Regarding this revert: It's not just screen readers that benefit from this tagging; there are plenty of automated processes that can use it. In this case, a spell checker found some characters like "ⁱ" which don't belong in English and don't conform to the Wikipedia Manual of Style outside of non-English text. -- Beland (talk) 02:17, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
- I really wouldn't want to encumber the wikitext with so many templates (which will make it cumbersome to edit, both in the traditional and the visual editor), just because the end result will be easier for spell-checking tools that no editor of this article is likely to use. – Uanfala (talk) 02:28, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
