Date of Death
editThe obituary in The Times, June 24, 1928, states that "Sir Westby Brook Perceval K.C.M.G. ... died at his residence at Wimbledon on Saturday at the age of 74." That would presumably be Saturday June 23 1928. Not January as stated in the Wikipedia article. Is that reason enough to change the article? 81.170.255.238 (talk) 14:11, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- Good spotting. The life range got added to the article with this edit back in 2015 and Hugo999 isn't known for edit summary usage so you never know what he's doing. Presumably, the dates come from the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography and January was simply a mistake; it does say 23 June 1928 in that bio. Almost ironically, The Press ran an article on 23 June 1928 from their London correspondent on Perceval's birthday the previous month. Schwede66 21:48, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
