More Whammies
editI won't add it to the article without a citation, but I observe that the New Press Your Luck has a lot more whammies than the old one, possible due to budget constraints. Anybody know if there's a source to confirm this?Super Saiyan Musashi (talk) 18:11, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Notable Person?
editHow does Amie Gerklen pass any kind of notability test whatso ever? Propose that she be removed from section. Modor (talk) 07:43, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Initial comments
edit- In the infobox, I don't think you need to include ", California" after "Hollywood" – it's a pretty well known location
- Done. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
- In the lead, I'd suggest adding "in Hollywood" after "The series was taped at Tribune Studios"
- Done. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
- In all cases: should the 'w' in "whammy" always be capitalized? I think it should since I believe it is a proper noun.
- Done, seemed we were confused and ended up with a mix of the two; either way, best to stay consistent. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
- Regarding ref #8, TV.com is not reliable because the content is user-generated (look at the bottom of WP:IRS and this corresponding article that relates to TV.com); however, this TV Guide source is good for the premiere date. I'm afraid I can't find anything else to cite the "Tournament of Champions" ref other than TV.com, but perhaps you might have something?
- Removed and Added the respective refs; used the "cite episode" ref for the ToC airdate. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
- "in season two it was changed o" --> "in season two it was changed to"
- Fixed. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

Triple Whammy
editI remember something called the "Triple Whammy", where not only would the Whammy take all your money away but stuff would be dumped on you (a la a Nickelodeon game show). RyanDalziel (talk) 06:15, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
