Talk:Where You Lead

Origins?

edit

I'd be curious as to whether King has spoken or written anywhere about why she wrote the song. Musically literate as I am, to this moment I had no idea it wasn't written as the theme song for Gilmore Girls, but existed long before King (and her daughter) re-recorded it for the mother-daughter-themed show. It would be interesting to know if she wrote it for a loved one, intended it as a romantic love song, or what. Lawikitejana (talk) 18:30, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ruth quote correction

edit

If any of you high-hat elitists could fix this, the quote from Ruth shown on this page is "Where thou lead, thou shalt follow", which doesn't even make sense. The actual phrasing would be (KJV) "whither thou goest, I will go;" and so on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.7.48.30 (talk) 05:19, 11 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Elitists? This is the encyclopedia anyone can edit. Meaning you. So fix it. Wasted Time R (talk) 00:53, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Whatever the accuracy of the quote I'm tagging the claim of its relevance to the song as "Citation needed": I have myself checked and the only online corroborations seem to be echos of this article.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 19:19, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
