Etymology of name

I request that "Arsene Wenger" (Aresenal FC Manager) be inculded as well as Samatha Fox as a resident of Whetstone. He lives in Tottridge lane. + David Dein (vice-Chairman of Arsenal Footbal club) and chairman of G14.

They both live in Totteridge, not Whetstone! I don't know where Samatha Fox lives or lived.--Osidge 09:30, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Maybe Whetstone was named Whetstone because on the day they claimed the land to build a town upon it, the exact centre- or maybe a special point- was a stone and it was raining so it became wet?
