Police corruption allegations: March 2016
editThe Atlanta Journal Constitution reported [1] that the chief of police and a junior officer were arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for extortion and false imprisonment. This probably is not a significant element to the story of the town, except for the low population density of the town, and ought not be included, no matter how sparse information about the town is.
On the other hand, the lede (before Rambot's data) reads entirely like Chamber of Commerce copy. A "short step" from the hills? That sounds like boosterism. Whoever is maintaining this page should consider presumptively dealing with potential additions on the corruption charges (i.e. forestalling them), but only after neutralizing the p.o.v. of the lede. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.186.127.134 (talk) 14:44, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
