White GoldWhite gold (disambiguation) – This is a disambiguation page, it should be labeled as a disambiguation page. Paul (talk) 02:59, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:59, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
For some examples, see Category:Disambiguation pages. Most of them do not have a suffix. Laurdecl talk 09:27, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. No, there is not usually any need to label a disambiguation page as such. However, I think in this instance where the difference is only a single capital letter it is in the interests of Wikipedia to do so. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:18, 4 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
    • Why? If someone searches with "White gold" they're probably looking for the alloy and that's where they'll be taken. Just in case, there is a link to the White Gold dab page there. Likewise, if someone searches with "White Gold" they're probably looking for one of the uses named White Gold on the dab page, and that's where they're taken. Just in case, there is a link to the alloy there. How are anyone's interests served better by changing this? --В²C 20:20, 4 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
    • I think its worth mentioning that searching for "white gold" (caps or not) on Google will serve the dab page, and not the main article. Also - I don't know about you all, but I never capitalize letters in my searches on Wikipedia. Paul (talk) 02:10, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per nonsensical rationale that doesn't understand that disambig pages are not normally "labelled" as such. However, moving to White gold I would support, since disambiguation is good. Dicklyon (talk) 05:54, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
