editThis article originated as part of the article George W. Bush's first term as president of the United States. But as it grew in length and became less and less about Bush, it became necessary to move it to its own article. The name chosen for the article is not the best one, but seemed suitabley descriptive till a better one can be decided upon. --The_stuart 18:47, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
"2004 U.S. Cabinet changes" perhaps? Regardless, the year should be included. Slurms MacKenzie 05:58, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
This article mentions: Altogether, twelve of the fifteen cabinet-level department heads resigned and were replaced. Remaining were Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao, and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Alphonso Jackson. However, Alphonso Jackson was not the original HUD Sec, it was Mel Martinez. The article also fails to mention Treasury Sec Paul O'Neil, who was the the first person to resign, not Evans or Ashcroft. If anyone else has a take on this, please respond.
