I don't think the claim about missing sources is justified. The source for this article is the musical itself, isn't it. What sort of source do you expect? After all, all the article does is describe the music and what's happening in the song. You don't need more than a recording and a pair of ears to verify the information given. - The existence of the song is not in question. The notability of the song as an independent encyclopedia topic is. Compare this article to for example Over the Rainbow, which extensively discusses the impact of the song beyond the film. This song and others from Les Miz do not appear to have any sort of separate notability. Otto4711 16:29, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Otto has a point, but I would support keeping this information if it is assembled into one article, e.g. "Songs from Les Misérables", because (i) taken as a whole they are notable, and (ii) the content would outweigh Les Misérables (musical) if added to that article. - Fayenatic london (talk) 20:36, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- My concerns with combining the articles are that I'm not sure that the resulting article would pass notability guidelines and that it would amount to a plot summary of the musical in contravention of WP:PLOT. Otto4711 21:08, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
