I thought the whopper was flame broiled and not "grilled"?

Another image might be good but I agree it should just show the sandwich. The one in the picture looks fairly representative of actual Whoppers I've seen/eaten. I've certainly never seen one that looks as good as the ones in the posters. Making fast food look that good in pictures is not as easy as it might seem; there's a reason they pay those photographers so much money. --Eloil 21:00, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

I agree, a better looking one under better lighting conditions would be a bit more appealing. I could be mistaken, but it seems to me that the first image provides more detail than the second, since the first one lets you have a mildly accurate scale of the product, the second one while showing only the subject at hand, doesnt allow one to get a true scale, thus providing less information. Whopper Jr

The Whopper Jr. does not warrant its own section, it is covered in the Variants section. If you would like expand upon the Jr., put its description in under the variant. I modified the food box so that you can put its values in. I know you wonder why I have changed it, so here are some reasons:

1. The proper name for the sandwich is the Whopper Junior, BK does abbreviate it to Whopper Jr.;
2. Remember to capitalize properly, e.g. the Whopper is a proper name, as are Whopper Junior, Chicken Tenders and Coke;
3. Do not put pricing in as it varies from store to store;
4. The comments such as "tasty," "famous" and "delights" are opinions or "peacock" statements and are not encyclopedic as per the MoS;
5. The Value menu is localized, various items are different from market to market. The 4 pc Tender is one such localized item.
6. There are several Wikilink errors.

Here is the text of your original entry: The Whopper Junior is a smaller variation of the Whopper. It allows the consumer to enjoy a smaller and healthier portion size. It has 290 calories and 12g of fat. Like the whopper, the Junior Whopper does not come with cheese and it is not uncommon to hear the phrase "With cheese", uttered after the order. Whopper Junior.... part TWO!

The Whopper, Jr. (1 2.2 oz hamburger patty) ... The Double Whopper, Jr. (2 2.5 oz hamburger patties)

Is someone ignorant on their sources, or does BK actually keep a larger patty specifically for the double Jr.? If no one has a solid weight on the burger, the weight should be deleted from both until confirmed. TheHYPO 06:30, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Edit: Jarem43 claims that "The Whopper" is a proper name. If the name of the burger officially includes the "The", the article should be moved to The Whopper. If it is not part of the name, it should not be capitalized. Additionally, the statement: nowadays, the cost of a Whopper (in the USA) ranges from 99 cents (during promotions) to 2.49 USD and higher, depending on restaurant pricing. Is a poor statement. If you don't know what the top price is, you should not give a range. If the 2.49 is a benchmark of some sort (ie: a national standard price), it should be mentioned as such. If it's just the highest price someone who wrote it could find, it should not be included. But that's like saying a pair of pants comes in sizes ranging from 40 to 60 and larger. Good morning (here in the US), Here are some answers to your points:

1. The proper name is the Whopper® sandwich or just the Whopper®, including the little "®"-thingy;
2. There are only two sizes of burger patties at BK (2.2 oz and 4 oz), there was a third (1.8 oz) in the 90s but that was discontinued. The 2.5 oz is a typo (the "5" is right above the "2" on the keyboard), all fixed!
3. The capitalized "the" is there because it is at the beginning of a sentence (grammar), anywhere else is a typo (possibly by me, possibly not...);
4. I did not put the pricing in, someone else did;

If the official name is indeed the Whopper, The article should be located at the Whopper (a "Lowercase" template can be used to make the title appear with the lowercase 't' if desired, but it should include the "the" if it's part of the burger's title, just as The Beatles has the as part of its name. The Angry Whopper INTERNATIONAL Promotion

WAIT A MINUTE! The Angry Whopper wasn't sold just in the UK, it was internationally and it's sold for 21 days every year. Alot of the proof is at [html://www.burgerking.com/ BK's website]. Kind advice - please be a little more civil when posting. When you make a change, cite it. If you need help ask and someone will help you. I never saw the product on any BK site except the UK, which I check every 3-4 weeks that it is why I only put the UK. Mostly solved, but you should know that it was always sold in Europe for 21 days annually since its proper debut in 2001, according to the European BK Site. It only came to the UK in 2007, over five years later. It was sold in North America only in 2000. Alas, we had to go through ALL the archives to find that proof. I worked for and managed in a BK franchise in the United States from 1983 until it was sold in 2004, and I can tell you that the Angry Whopper was never sold in the US. As stated in the variations section, there have been many spicy versions of the sandwich sold in US, but not the Angry Whopper.

If you have some sort of concrete, verifiable proof that it was and contradicts my experience working for the company, I will gladly make the revision to the article myself.

As for the changes I made, I alphabetized it and formatted it to resemble the rest of the article. I had not come across it before and only saw it listed on the UK site and included it as such. - Jeremy (Jerem43 21:15, 2 December 2007 (UTC))

Recent Advert tag removal

An editor recently tagged this article as reading like an advertisment with out claiming why. Since this and other articles for Burger King products were vetted in a recent AfD, I removed the tag as I cannot locate any content that can be described as being advertising like.

Neutrality

Ummm to quote the article,"Because of the wide knowledge of the Whopper in the public marketplace, competitors such as McDonald's and Wendy's have attempted to create a corresponding Whopper-style burger," but first off, I thought the Big Mac came first (I'm not sure on that one and I don't have a source), and this sounds really biased toward BK as being "original" and saying that McD's and Wendy's just copied them.
