While the wiener series is covering a wide class of nonlinear systems it does NOT encompass systems with infinite memory thus the passage > "In this context, the series approximates the functional relation of the output to the entire history of system input at any time" is incorrect, as it is only able to consider a finite length history. That is very definitely wrong. For example, if you pass white Gaussian noise through a first order filter and square the result, the output is very simply expressible as a second order Wiener series. JFB80 (talk) 06:09, 21 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
