The article makes the claim that he once ate his own cap. The source it links to doesn't actually confirm this (and is a blog anyway rather than a reputable source). Should this claim still be in there?

This needs a lot of work. The detail of his seasons starts with 2006, though he debuted as a major leaguer with the Tigers in 2003. That section also erroneously states that he started his first game in 2006, though he started many games for the Tigers prior to that season.
