Songs on LP

My LP contains neither a "Bip Bop Link" nor a "Mumbo Link". It's just the remaining eight songs, four on each side. Could someone explain? <KF> 08:42, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)

The tracks were untitled on the original LP. The CD version adds titles to those tracks. Kind of like how "Her Majesty" on Abbey Road was originally not credited on the back of the original LP. (IGR)

Album name

What is the correct name of this album? Everybody who writes about this album calls it Wild Life, but this is not what it is called on the CD which forms part of the Paul McCartney Collection. Read the side panels of this CD and the name is given as Wings Wild Life. (The "Wings" in Wings Wild Life is in addition to the artist name Wings.) Read the label printed on the CD itself and the name is given as Wings Wild Life. The second line on the front cover of the CD says Wings Wild Life. You might think that this includes the artist name, but compare it to another CD from the same collection, say, for example, Venus and Mars, which is also credited to Wings. The second line on the front cover of that CD says simply Venus and Mars, not Wings Venus and Mars. Also, every CD in the Paul McCartney Collection comes with a booklet that contains thumbnail pictures of the covers of all of the albums in the collection. The caption under the cover picture for this album calls it Wings Wild Life. In this same booklet are photographs of the labels on the original LP. Those labels have "Wings Wild Life" written on them in a way that could be taken to mean that "Wings" either is or is not a part of the album title. In other words they are ambiguous. The same is true of the reproduction of the original liner notes. The Paul McCartney Collection CD may be misprinted, but then it is consistently misprinted, and there is no evidence on this CD for the idea that the name of this album is anything other than Wings Wild Life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.148.4.80 (talk) 18:07, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Good point, but for the sake of completeness wouldn't it be a good idea to mention the other title that is so clearly indicated on the Paul McCartney Collection CD? Okay, I've had the CD in my hand and yes, it does contain printing errors on both the disc and the packaging. However, for this to warrant inclusion in the article, we need to find a reliable secondary source that notes the error. Wrapped in Grey (talk) 10:44, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Just yesterday I got a copy of Wingspan: Hits and History (the American edtion, which might be significant). The song "Tomorrow" appears on the disk labeled History. The liner notes say this about this track: "Tomorrow 1971 (Wings Wild Life) 3.24". Unreleased DCC Version

In 1995, Steve Hoffman mastered a version of this album for DCC's Gold Disc label. It was left unreleased and the label eventually folded. This version just leaked online the other day.
