editI've altered the sentence 'Wild Turkey stands out from other whiskeys in that it uses a cork lid instead of a plastic screw-top', as the cork seal is standard in a lot of whiskeys----certainly in single malts. I've made it 'from lower-priced whiskeys', but this is a bit of a trite observation; perhaps it ought to be excised altogether. 66.229.161.49 01:24, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe it should be "from other lower-priced whiskeys"
I've corrected the lyrics to "Where are you tonight", the Cowboy Junkies song in the Music section. It was "And he orders Wild Turkey with a quick wit and a smile". Kouk (talk) 19:50, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
There are 2 export versions not mentioned on here an 8-Year 101 proof and a 12-year 101 proof, I don't know any details beyond that about them though. 50.12.160.247 (talk) 11:44, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Other mentions in books
editStuart Woods' Stone Barrington character drinks Wild Turkey in the early novels, before switching later on to Knob Creek.
Lawrence Block's detective, Matthew Scudder, also drinks Wild Turkey in one book while in a murderer's home. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.243.1.164 (talk) 23:22, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
