So for the week 4 assignment we're supposed to write what we want to contribute to this article. I was looking through it, and I thought that the "Life and Education" part was good, although I wouldn't be opposed to splitting it in two to make it easier to read. Additionally, I felt that the "Works in the Philippines" section was split into a few blocky sections that are all really random, in my opinion. There are no citations for any of these subsections, so we can maybe start by finding some citations for these subsections. Here is my bibliography of some Solheim sources that we can dig through to add citations to back up the text in the "Works in the Philippines" section:

  • Solheim, W. (1972). AN EARLIER AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION. Scientific American, 226(4), 34-41. Retrieved from http://www.jstor.org/stable/24927314
  • Wilhelm G. Solheim,, "Early Bronze in Northeastern Thailand," Current Anthropology 9, no. 1 (Feb., 1968): 59-62.
  • Wilhelm G. Solheim, "Pottery and the Malayo-Polynesians," Current Anthropology 5, no. 5 (Dec., 1964): 360+376-406.
  • Solheim, W. G. II. 2002. The Archaeology of Central Philippines, Revised edition. Quezon City: Archaeological Studies Program, University of the Philippines.

Also, I'm not too sure if this is the right place to do this assignment, so let me know if we should be writing this somewhere else in the Talk page. --Gc14163 (talk) 07:52, 2 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Is there any more information on his early life, family background, etc? I feel that there is a lack of this. (Guido00 (talk) 20:46, 23 February 2018 (UTC))Reply
