- "William Armstrong (disambiguation)" redirects to William Armstrong.
- Thank you for this catch! I've corrected this accordingly. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Watch for all-caps in reference 5; shouldn't be in all-caps.
- Reference 5 has been corrected so it is now rendered properly. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- No images of him?
- Unfortunately, there are no images of him that I can locate. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Armstrong was born in 1782 in Lisburn, County Antrim, perhaps add "Kingdom of Ireland"
- I've added this accordingly in the lede. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Battle of Pentland Hills. is there a more specific battle you could link to here? perhaps Battle of Rullion Green?
- Based on the information available in the source, I believe that Battle of Rullion Green and the Battle of Pentland Hills are one in the same; however, I've left the phrasing as Battle of Pentland Hills with a link to the Battle of Rullion Green in order to stay true to the wording in the source. Let me know if this works! -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- In January 1818, Armstrong was unanimously elected by whom? the public?
- I am assuming he was elected by the public, but the source doesn't specify. Please let me know if this requires further elaboration in the meantime. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Armstrong and John Kirk, and Armstrong's wife Jane and John Baker White perhaps add some commas such that Armstrong and John Kirk, and Armstrong's wife Jane and John Baker White becomes Armstrong and John Kirk, and Armstrong's wife, Jane, and John Baker White
- I've rendered the sentence accordingly per your suggestion. Thank you! -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- He relocated to New Creek Station (formerly Paddytown, present-day Keyser)[a] not sure you need the note for the third time.
- I've removed this footnote accordingly. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Copyright on file comes back OK. Can you move the file up a bit in that section? It's breaking into the next section right now.
- I've moved the file up accordingly. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Files shouldn't use px; see MOS:UPRIGHT.
- I've modified this to upright. Thank you so much for this catch and recommendation! -- West Virginian (talk) 14:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- His son joined the Confederate States Army Edward, I'm assuming? Can you clarify? Based on the personal life section it could be either of 2.
- I've changed this to his son Edward for clarification. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- The postmaster preceded and succeeded by in the infobox really aren't referenced anywhere.
- I removed this content from the infobox. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- What makes Historic Hampshire a reliable reference? It looks self-published.
- What makes Munske & Kerns 2004 a reliable reference?
- The Historic Hampshire and the Munske & Kerns 2004 books were both co-authored and published by local historians and subject matter experts in Hampshire County and in West Virginia. Both are based on reliable evidence and documentation. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information on these books in the meantime. -- West Virginian (talk) 14:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
