I know there's really not much here, but it should be noted that William Benton was a trustee at the University of Connecticut, where the art museum named in his honor is located. Only thing is I'm not sure when exactly he was a trustee. I've got access to the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center at the Storrs Campus, if need be, I can do a quick glance through some archived material and come up with the right stuff.
