William B Ziff is one of the greatest historians who has written an incomparable commentary on post-war world in 1944, "The Gentlemen Talk of Peace". (Published by Macmillan Co.) If anybody wants to understand what is happenning in the 21st Century should read it and be astounded by his wisdom, candour and prescience. This book deserves being included amongst the classics of world history.
