KBE?
editI note that he was knighted in 1883 and is given the postnominals of KBE (Knight of the Order of the British Empire - an order of knighthood that did not exist until 1917 when he was 77 years old). This needs checking out, London Gazette most likely source, as well as possibly his entry in Who Was Who.Cloptonson (talk) 10:35, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
