editAnd, I don't know if this should go in WP Bible or something as well, as he's mainly known as a translator (and for his Greek grammars). St John Chrysostom Δόξατω Θεώ 11:35, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
i created the article. when it was marked for speedy deletion, i hadn't quite finished yet. as it is now, i think it shows how mounce is significant. the second paragraph and the (only partial) list of his works assert his importance in the fields of koine greek and biblical studies.

- Speedy delete tag removed as assertion of notability as author made. Removal of the speedy delete tag does not constitute agreement that the subject is sufficiently notable for article to remain; just that it is not a candidate for a speedy deletion. Please review WP:BIO to see criteria for biographies. — ERcheck (talk) 22:55, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Who is this dude?
editHe appears in some article giving theological credit to something... this is by all means a minor author and one not to be quoted by name... please add the page to be removed, the page reads as a cv. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.159.33.45 (talk) 06:22, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
