books with cousins

I read his books a long time ago, but as I recall he had one or more books that involved romances between cousins. Does anyone else know anything about this, and if its true is it worth a mention? Is that what:

"A theme that is frequently intertwined with the science fiction plotline is that of family relationships, especially between siblings."

Which book are you thinking of? I haven't read all of them, but I am a fan of his books. I don't recall any such thing, so if you're right it's in one I've not read. Professor Chaos 03:08, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Fansite

Back in May 2007, the link to my fansite about William Sleator was removed by ShelfSkewed. I know that Wikipedia is not a directory, and I respect that. From my research about fansites on Wikipedia, I gather that only "major" fansites should be included in external links. Since my site has been the first Google result when searching for William Sleator, since it has been at its current location since 1999, and since the page predates the basic "official page" maintained by his brother, I respectfully propose that the link be reinstated. My issue with the site is not that it's a fansite, but that there's not much there that isn't already in the article, or that won't be in the article as it grows and improves. External links should be for sites that go beyond what the WP article might reasonably be expected to include or material that can't be used in its entirety in the article (interviews, for example). Also none of the material on the site is referenced (granted, neither is the WP article, but that's a different issue) so it doesn't work as a reliable source. But that's just one editor's opinion. Removal of "The Cupcake"

After research and discussion with template creator (Sadads (talk)), we've concluded that "The Cupcake" is not a William Sleator book, and this book title insertion was subtle vandalism. Removing. Royce (talk) 14:05, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Death date

• The NYT listed his date of death as August 3, but other reputable sites (e.g., the site maintained by Sleator's brother) listed it as August 2. It's gone back and forth a couple of times, so I'm just leaving it until we can find a definitive proclamation, or figure out what would be the more reliable source.   • Twitter from Publishers' Weekly on 8/3 said "died yesterday" (8/2)
  • School Library Journal says passed away "Thursday", which would be 8/4.
  • NYT says died on wednesday (8/3)
  • brother's website says 8/3
