@47thPennVols: is there anything more on the subjects pre-military life? It has where he was born, and that he had attended a post-secondary institution. If that is it, than I can elevate to a B, but if there is more, than it should be included for the article to meet criterea B2.--RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 00:07, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
@RightCowLeftCoast: I haven't been able to find anything more on Wilson's early life, and I've looked, including in military records on Fold3 because I have access through the Wikipedia Library. In fact, I've actually covered more about him than most others have in their news reporting of him since his death in 1895. (As you get to know me better, you'll find that I'm quite thorough in my research, and won't request an assessment from my fellow Milhist members until I'm confident I've provided as in-depth a coverage of my biographical subjects as possible.) The existing article re: Wilson was a genuine stub with no images before I took on the task of updating it and, as you can see, I've improved it quite significantly. I would very much appreciate it if you could upgrade the assessment to B-Class. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards. 47thPennVols (talk) 00:20, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
I have updated the Milhist checklist. RE the rating for B4, this is because I feel there is too much quoted material. The newspaper interview could be worked into the narrative, e.g. "According to Wilson,..." and I don't think the general orders need to be recited when there are also citations for the MoH.
