Question re 1837 medals
editI haven't made an edit since I defer to someone more knowledgeable / with the right catalogs, but from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_London#Governance, the City of London Corporation has their ceremonial and administrative headquarters at Guildford, so where this says "the City Medal struck in 1837 to celebrate Victoria's first visit to the City of London ... and another medal also issued in 1837 commemorating her visit to the Guildhall" then more than likely they are talking about exactly the same event and the same medal. 24.4.216.201 (talk) 05:47, 25 December 2019 (UTC)

Occupation of his father, Peter Wyon
editThis article said he was a "die sinker". The article about Peter Wyon says he was "an engraver of medals and coins". Since William apprenticed as with his father I have edited his father's occupation to say "engraver and die sinker" as a temporary resolution. However, the two articles need to be synchronised regarding his father's occupation. This will mean digging in the original source. Humphrey Tribble (talk) 21:13, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
