Notability
editIn Wikipedia, notability does not have the ordinary dictionary definition. It is a guideline with objective criteria. Your statement that "it is the only biography of Wilt" does not help satisfy WP's requirements. Per WP:Notability: "A topic is presumed to be notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Notability requires objective evidence that the subject meets the criterion, without regard for the subjective personal judgments of editors.
Please read Wikipedia:Notability (books). Notability requires verifiable references from reliable sources. Currently, the article has but a single reference to Amazon's extract of a review, so it is difficult to verify notability.
The book probably is notable, but that must be established by references. So go find references to the book and include them in the article. Sbowers3 (talk) 18:30, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
