Someone tried to represent the approximate size of the geographical area that would be represented by the 400,000 households that the wind park is expected to be able to provide with electricity (long term average) with the statement "This is roughly the number of households in the Northern Netherlands." The statement was flagged with "citation needed" and with good reason, as the northern Netherlands is considerably more populous than 400,000 households. The statement has been changed to read "This is roughly the number of households in the two adjacent provinces of Flevoland and Friesland." Flevoland has a population of around 400,000 and Friesland has a population of around 650,000, for a combined population of 1,050,000. With an average household size of 2.458 persons in the Netherlands, this works out to quite close to 400,000 households. Piperh (talk) 19:53, 22 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
