Does anybody know the name of the theme song for Discovery Wings?
On 9 June 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Wings (1988 TV program) to Wings (1988 TV series). The result of the discussion was moved. |
Seasons and episodes
editMore information about the different mini-series and seasons should be great in this article. By mini-series, I mean episodes from Wings, Wings over the Gulf, etc. --83.44.22.45 (talk) 11:59, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Different production companies
editJudging by the credits, many "Wings" episodes were produced by different companies, sometimes under other series titles. "Adler Video Marketing" may have been the company behind the episodes produced explicitly as "Wings". However another batch of episodes apparently were produced by an Australian company originally under the series title "Great Planes," a title now used on its own by DSC's Military Channel in the US. Helicopter Series
editConcurrently with "Wings", Discovery had a series on helicopters titled "Straight Up". It's nearly impossible to find information on it due to some other series with the same name or using "Straight Up" as an episode title. I know the series existed because I watched many of the episodes in the early 1990's. Each episode was either on a single model of famous or influential helicopter or on the history of one of the manufacturers. It's not even in the List of Aviation Television Shows Bizzybody (talk) 08:00, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
